బీసీసీఐకి కేంద్రం సూచన
జాతీయ National News భారత్ ప్రతినిధి : లక్షలాదిమందికి రోల్ మోడల్గా నిలిచే క్రీడాకారులు పొగాకు, మద్యం సంబంధిత ప్రకటనలు చేయకుండా కేంద్ర ఆరోగ్య మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ చర్యలు చేపడుతోంది. ఈ మేరకు బీసీసీఐ, భారత క్రీడా ప్రాధికార సంస్థ (శాయ్)లకు సూచనలు చేసింది. దేశంలోనే కాకుండా ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా కోట్లాదిమందికి క్రికెటర్లు, అథ్లెట్లు మార్గదర్శకులని పేర్కొంది. బీసీసీఐ అధ్యక్షుడు రోజర్ బిన్నీ, శాయ్ డైరక్టర్ ఆఫ్ జనరల్ సందీప్ ప్రధాన్కు కేంద్ర ఆరోగ్య శాఖ డైరక్టర్ అతుల్ గోయల్ లేఖ రాశారు.
దేశంలో క్రికెట్ వ్యాప్తి కోసం బీసీసీఐ అనేక కార్యక్రమాలు చేపడుతోంది. క్రికెటర్లు, అభిమానుల కోసం విధానాలు, మార్గదర్శకాలను రూపొందించడంలో ఆ సంస్థ మంచి పనితీరు కనబరుస్తోంది. అయితే, ఐపీఎల్ లేదా ఇతర క్రికెట్ మ్యాచ్ల సమయంలో పొగాకు, ఆల్కహాల్ ప్రకటనలు చూడటం బాధాకరం. ఇలాంటి సమయంలో ప్రముఖ క్రికెటర్లు యాడ్స్లో కనిపించడం వల్ల యువతపై దుష్ప్రభావం పడే అవకాశం లేకపోలేదు. సంబంధిత అంశంపై బీసీసీఐ దృష్టిసారించాలని కోరుతున్నాం.
ఇలాంటి ప్రకటనల్లో క్రికెటర్లు పాల్గొనకుండా చూడాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేస్తున్నాం. బీసీసీఐ నిర్వహించే మ్యాచ్లు, ఐపీఎల్ టోర్నీ సమయంలో కేవలం క్రికెటర్లు మాత్రమే కాకుండా. ఇతర ప్రముఖులు ఎవరైనా సరే పొగాకు ఉత్పత్తులు, ఆల్కహాల్ ప్రకటనలను ప్రదర్శించకుండా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలి" అని కేంద్రం కోరింది.
