గవర్నర్ కోటాలో MLC నియామకానికి సుప్రీం గ్రీన్ సిగ్నల్
తెలంగాణ Telangana News భారత్ ప్రతినిధి : తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో గవర్నర్ కోటాలో ఎమ్మెల్సీల నియామకానికి లైన్ క్లియరైంది. ఇప్పటికే కోదండరాం, అమీర్ అలీఖాన్ లను ఎమ్మెల్సీలుగా నామినేట్ చేయాలని రాష్ట్ర కేబినెట్ గవర్నర్ కు సిఫార్స్ చేసింది. ఐతే కొత్త నియామకాలపై సుప్రీంకు వెళ్లారు బీఆర్ఎస్ నేతలు దాసోజు శ్రవణ్, కుర్ర సత్యనారాయణ. గతంలో హైకోర్టు ఇచ్చిన తీర్పుపై బుధవారం సుప్రీం స్టే ఇచ్చింది.
మరోవైపు కొత్త నియామకాలను చేపట్టకుండా ఆపాలన్న పిటిషనర్లు కోరికను సుప్రీం తిరస్కరించింది. గవర్నర్, ప్రభుత్వ హక్కులను హరించినట్లే అవుతుందని తెలిపింది. ఎప్పటికప్పుడు నియామకాలు చేపట్టడం ప్రభుత్వ విధి అని వ్యాఖ్యానించింది.
The line has been cleared for the appointment of MLCs in the Governor's quota in Telangana state. The state cabinet has already recommended to the governor to nominate Kodandaram and Ameer Ali Khan as MLCs. However, BRS leaders Dasoju Shravan and Kurra Satyanarayana went to the Supreme Court over the new appointments. On Wednesday, the Supreme Court stayed the verdict given earlier by the High Court.
On the other hand, the Supreme Court rejected the petitioners' desire to stop the new appointments. It said that it would be like taking away the rights of the Governor and the Government. It commented that it is the duty of the government to make appointments from time to time.
